Help! The big bad "A" thing is after me!

"Adversity"

What is adversity? It has hounded me and followed my footsteps for which I ask why? Why me, why now? There must be a solid reason as there is for everything.

I have decided not to partake in it. I will not succumb to it. I refuse to let it drag me nor my aspirations down. It is nothing but a wake up call to make a change in course. That is what I will do now.

If I continue doing what I am doing, nothing will change. Only change will change things. Why didn't I realized this sooner? Perhaps lack of vision or just plain stupidity. Regardless, it is now behind me. My new mantra is to steer my destiny in the direction of my choosing, now!
